Où est la main de l’homme sans tête?

A movie by Guillaume & Stéphane MALANDRIN – 2009

Eva, a young woman of twenty-five, is an Olympic diver: a champion. Her father, Peter, is her trainer. During a competition, Eva climbs to the platform of ten meters. She rushes when suddenly she sees a shadow in the basin. Terrified by this vision, Eva suddenly loses her balance, her skull hits the diving board and it is the fall. The black hole.

When Eva regains consciousness, it is at the hospital. Naturally, her father is at her bedside. For him, the accident is already past: the Olympic Games are approaching, the playoffs cannot be missed. But Eva does not hear it that way. The accident changed her as well as her existence. During her coma, her brother disappeared. She decides to force her memory to remember, to break that wall of silence that her father has erected all around her. Eva will come out of it distressed. Her family too, and nothing will ever be the same again.
